Accessible Pricing FAQs

We want everyone to be able to access our courses. This starts with accessible pricing.

What is accessible pricing?

This is a method that works towards making the classes and courses we offer financially accessible while ensuring we can financially sustain the business. With this pricing model there are 3 tiers for you to choose from. We ask that you consider the price that fits your needs currently, without guilt and with honesty. We do not upscale our pricing so that it can be discounted to entice buyers. Instead, we keep our prices the same year-round, so people can access educational materials at the time they need regardless of financial situation. Please note that the “not today” and “accessible” price are not discounts for those hoping to get the best deal. Our suggested price is what we can sustainably offer to keep providing classes and courses.

What are the prices?

The prices vary by class and course. With this pricing model there are 3 tiers for you to choose from the suggested price, not today price, and the accessible price.

How do I choose which price to pay?

We ask that you consider the price that fits your needs currently, without guilt and with honesty.

Suggested Price

This is the actual cost of the class.

If this price will cause financial difficulties determine if the “not today” or “accessible” price will provide a feasible option for you to take this class based on your current financial situation.

Not Today Price

This is for those who are able to meet their basic needs but have little-to-no expendable income.

Thus, the suggested price is a “not today” price, because it would cause you to make a financial sacrifice.

The price in this tier is reduced by 38% with a Price Adjustment Code

Accessible Price

This is for those who would end up with significant hardship and struggle to meet basic needs (food, housing, etc.) if they paid a higher tiered price.

The price in this tier is reduced by 80% with a Price Adjustment Code

I want a deal. Can I just choose a lower price to get a discount?

We value honesty and hope that you choose the price point that is affordable to you, so our business can continue to exist. We do not upscale our pricing so that it can be discounted to entice buyers. The “not today” and “accessible” price are not discounts for those hoping to get the best deal. Our suggested price is what we can sustainably offer.

Where can I find the Price Adjustment Codes?

Price Adjustment Codes are found on the description page of a course. If you have difficulty finding a Price Adjustment Code for a class or it is not working, please contact us using the form below.

Do you ever offer discounts or sales?

No. We keep our prices the same year-round, so people can access educational materials at the time they need regardless of financial situations.

Why are the prices different for different classes or courses?

When determining our pricing, we take into consideration what costs go into making and sustaining the classes, courses, and other costs associated with maintaining the business.

What if I still can’t afford the “accessible” price?

Please contact us. We understand that our “accessible” price for some of our courses may still not be affordable for all. If this is the case, please contact us. A portion of sales goes into an Awards Fund that can be used to make a course financially accessible.

I’m uncomfortable determining which price to choose or to contact you about the awards fund. Why are you forcing people to choose?

We get it. Many of us were raised to not talk about money and to be embarrassed by our financial situations. Our intention isn’t to make anyone uncomfortable, but to allow for people to access our classes and courses. There may be times that you pay the “accessible” price and times you choose the suggested price. Even if you always need to choose the “accessible” price that is ok! We do not judge. All we ask is that you are honest with us and yourself when choosing what is affordable to you at the time you pay.

Why do you offer accessible pricing?

Healthcare is a right, but unfortunately for many it is a privilege. We value accessibility and want to ensure that anyone can access our healthcare related education yet sustain a business. When determining content and revenue streams, we decided that accessible pricing on classes and courses would be an actionable way to demonstrate our values. While we offer free content on blog posts and social media, we also know these platforms do not contain our more in-depth content.

Do you offer accessible pricing for your coaching packages?

Unfortunately, it is not feasible for us to offer accessible pricing for coaching packages currently. We hope as our business grows to offer this option in the future.

What resources helped you come up with this pricing model?

We looked into sliding scale and pay what you can pricing models. The 2 articles that aligned most with our intent were both from Worts and Cunning Apothecary:

General FAQs

You say you value accessibility, but how are you ensuring classes and courses are accessible for people with disabilities?

This is a work in progress, and we are continuing to learn. All videos will have closed captioning and an associated transcript as a PDF. Within the limits of LearnWorlds, supplemental handouts will be made as accessible as possible. While we don’t expect anyone to provide us with free labor, if you have suggestions for improvement, please email us at [email protected]

Do you offer 1:1 Sessions?

Sort of! Head over to https://stacielampkin.com/personalized-presentations for more information!

How do I obtain BCPA CE for a class?

Not all classes are pre-approved for BCPA CE credit. If a class offers CE credit it is noted on the class description. Pre-approval for BCPA CE credit is only valid for 1-year, so it is possible that CE credit is no longer available for a class.

After you register for a class that offers BCPA CE, you must complete all the learning requirements, fill out the evaluation, and obtain the Certificate of Completion. Once you receive your Certificate of Completion, don’t forget to claim the pre-approved CE through your BCPA Online Portal (hosted by Prolydian).
